How The Subconscious Mind Can Help Experience Cosmic Consciousness


The concept of three levels of mind is not new to us. The conscious, subconscious and unconscious mind work together to create a new reality and enable humans to use that knowledge to change believes and habits so that we can lead a happier, more peaceful and confident lives. 


The human mind is so used to assigning consciousness only to human thought that it takes some adjustment to see it as universal, or cosmic, applying at all levels. If we can harness the power of the conscious and subconscious mind and achieve cosmic consciousness, we will be able to escape the limitations of everyday perception.

The Power Of The Subconscious Mind

The subconscious mind is where everything that has consciously or unconsciously happened to you has been stored. It holds the experiences both good and bad, which influence how you go through life. It holds the rules and regulations on how to get through your day automatically. Humans are always aware of the conscious mind, and it focuses on a limited scope of activities and information it receives but the subconscious mind is virtually unlimited in the amount of information it can process. If you are not aware of your subconscious mind, the world around you can influence it and shape your beliefs. Consciousness groups can help you communicate properly with the subconscious mind and enable you to achieve the unlimited accomplishments. 

Cosmic Consciousness or Higher Consciousness

Cosmic consciousness is perfect awareness of the oneness of life. Cosmic Consciousness includes a spiritual understanding that there is eternal life and that God is the whole universe. A person who has experienced cosmic consciousness sees all things as being interconnected, a part of the cosmic consciousness. This new experience bestows new enlightenment which places the experiencer on a new plane of existence. He experiences a sense of universality, a consciousness of eternal life, bliss and joy beyond understanding and description.

Cosmic Consciousness is an inherent, natural faculty of all men and women. Training and discipline are necessary to awaken the consciousness. It is already present in man but it is inactive, or non-functioning in the majority of human beings.

Religious associations and wrong perception don’t allow humans to achieve higher consciousness and stop the mind from looking directly at itself rather than outward at things. Cosmic consciousness is often associated with the experience of knowing God or of transcending the five senses and finding a hidden consciousness or reality which is beyond the perceivable world. It is said that in a state of Cosmic Consciousness, the human mind is elevated beyond the awareness of the self and the ego, and enters a place of oneness and unity with the universe. When one achieves Cosmic Consciousness, he has an exalted and blissful experience through intuition. Our mental thoughts are probably the only one true freedom we have in this world that we can actually control. 

 If we can decide how we will think and what thoughts we will allow into our minds, it can determine our destiny.
