4 Puzzling Archaeological discoveries that Amazes the Human Civilization

1. Nanostructures in Russia:

Scientist wanted to extract the valuable gold they bumped into discovering the interesting nanostructures that includes coils, spirals and shafts. These discoveries were made during the geological research in the Ural Mountains of Russia. The tiny objects were then studied and examined the larger portions were made of copper and smaller forms of tungsten and molybdenum. The use of these mysterious objects cannot be be explained by anyone.

2. Sinkholes in Siberia:

Yamal Peninsula located in Siberia revealed one of the most intriguing archaeological discoveries. The bizarre discovery has a puzzling hole which is 115 foot deep. This is believed to have been formed after a strange phenomenon of mysterious explosion in the area. There are two more sinkholes in Northern part of Russia; these are also believed to have been created by the consequent gas explosions beneath the surface of the earth. These holes are still under research conducted by Andrei Plekhanov.

3. The Piri Reis Map:

This is believed to have been discovered in the year 1929 and was written by Piri Reis in 1513. This map represents part of Europe, coasts of Brazil, Antarctica, North Africa and more. The bizarre thing about the map is it is believed that the continents were not discovered until 300 years later than the creation of the map. The map showcases explicit details of Antarctica’s features with areas demarcated as covered by ice for the last 600 years. This stunned the scientist with the thought – how could Piri Reis depict this as accurately as it was founded almost 300 years later!

4. Rongorongo writing:

This is believed to be one of the earliest forms of writing. The glyphs are found as series of wooden carvings discovered in the year 1864 on the Eastern Island. The meaning of the glyphs cannot be decoded event until present day even; after several attempts made by the researchers. The symbols are cryptic and do not really appears as a writing. Scholars believed that the translation of the glyphs will actually solve the mystery behind the collapse of the civilization of Easter Island.
